If you are looking for a quick and easy fix, I would first like to strongly caution you against it. This side of heaven, there is no easy button. Real change will take some time and will require some hard work. Counseling is one of the best investments you will ever make, but it isn’t cheap, and it isn’t easy. It is, though, definitely worth the time, effort, and money that you will put into it. To that end, in order to be fair to yourself and your potential new counselor, we highly recommend a minimum of five sessions before losing faith and trying a new counselor. There is no easy button.
